Models & providers

OpenAI-compatible routes, provider prefixes, and vaulted BYOK.

Discovery

Mint itr_rt_* in Settings → Runtime API keys. Keep upstream secrets in the Provider vault; clients should not need vendor sk- keys.

curl -sS https://intertrace.fly.dev/v1/models -H "Authorization: Bearer itr_rt_…"

Some providers use path prefixes (e.g. /baseten/v1/…).

Which providers work, and how

On the hosted edge (https://intertrace.fly.dev):

  • Hosted keys: OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral and OpenRouter work with Intertrace's own keys. OpenAI models are served through OpenRouter unless you save your own OpenAI key in the Provider vault.
  • Your own key: Google Gemini, Azure OpenAI, Groq, Perplexity and Baseten need your key in the Provider vault. Without one, Gemini and Azure requests go through OpenRouter.
  • Through OpenRouter: Llama and DeepSeek models. AWS Bedrock has no credentials to save, so Bedrock models are reached only through OpenRouter.
  • Customer-hosted only: Ollama and other self-hosted servers, on a customer-hosted gateway configured with their base URL.

Hugging Face has no working hosted path today.
